 Consumer Comments

1.   Excellent location for first time visitors. Very close to free trolley tram that runs daily during summer, weekends other times. Room was very nice, includes bathroom and full kitchen. Onlycomplaint - a leaking tap in kitchen, reported when we arrived, not repaired when we left 4 days later. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

2.   The persons at the front desk were very cheerful and fast in their service, just what I needed after a tiring, much delayed flight. My room had been upgraded to a suite, which was luxurious and beautifully furnished. I only regret that I was too busy to enjoy the restful environment and comfort the suite offered, as I was attending a conference at the nearby (and far more expensive) Drake Hotel. I am a very light sleeper but had no problem with the kind of noises either from inside the hotel or from the outside that I have often experienced at more expensive four and five-star hotels. In short, I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Seneca and will not hesitate to stay there again during my next trip to Chicago.
